Voted as one of the top three Most Innovative Triathlon Products at the 2013 Triathlon Business International Awards Ceremony!
Last year we brought you the Forza Tribib and now we have the Riviera Tribib based off our popular Riviera Tri Short.
Same design, fit, and Floatpad as the Riviera Tri Short!
The Bib design offers a slimming look as it holds in the stomach and obliques while allowing ease of breathing and no cutting at the waist. One center back pocket. Liftfoil™ with coldBlack™ Body, Forza Compressor™ Legs with Compressor™ double-legband, Liftfoil™ abdomen panel, Skin Cooler™ bibs, Curvilinear™ seam lines, contrast flatstitch, one piece Floatpad™ (4-way stretch, buoyant & seamless custom tri pad).
The Liftfoil™ panels in the center offer a number of benefits:
- To improve the durability. Yes, this fabric is more durable, which important in an area where you will rubbing against a saddle and where some people's thighs rub together.
- To keep the modesty panel, well, modest. This fabric is not diaphanous at all (meaning not see-through). Something we all appreciate not involuntarily seeing on others.
- To make this trishort faster in non-wetsuit races. Liftfoil™ is our swimskin fabric. It is of what make the entire Liftfoil™ Speed Trisuit. The addition of these panels on the front and back makes this trishort faster, and had no adverse affects when worn with a wetsuit.

- What is the SPF/UPF rating for this product?
To date, in the USA there are still no federal regulations for SPF, or UPF ratings in clothing.
Although many manufacturers list SPF/UPF ratings on their clothing tags, they are doing so in a very biased and unwarranted manner. You see, there is not yet an accreditation process to regulate these claims in the USA. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), together with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) are currently exploring the many outside influences on fabrics, such as salt and chlorinated water, stretch, and durability to determine a standard for clothing in relation to sun protection.
So, if a company sells you on their SPF/UPF rated products and says you do not need to wear sunscreen, they will be lying to you just to make a sale.
That said, our fabrics have been tested for their effectiveness against UVB rays by an independent organization. The Skin Cooler fabrics we created block 75% of UVB rays. This is why we recommend you wear sunscreen underneath these products. It is crucial to keep in mind that a sunscreen's SPF/UPF rating refers only to its ability to protect skin from UVB radiation, the rays that cause sunburn. Because we know that UVA damage can be just as insidious, it is essential for the health of your skin that you use a sunscreen that contains the UVA-protecting ingredients of titanium dioxide, zinc oxide and/or avobenzone.
We have had all our fabrics tested by an independent testing service and they found that our Forza Fabric blocks 75% of UVB rays.
