This amazing bib is an improved version of the 400-Mile™ Bib Short of 2007. The most exciting change is that the 400-Mile™ pad floats and stretches which means it can be used as a race piece in a triathlon. This 11-panel bib now has an abdomen panel for more comfort and stretch on long rides. It has 3-pockets (one on each leg, and one in back) that fit cell phones, mp3 players, fuel packets, and most sunglasses. Curvilinear™ seam lines, contrast flatstitch, and the 400-Mile™ Pad make it the most comfortable bibshort on the market regardless of price. The pad actually stretches with the short and follows your skin as it moves with every pedal stroke, eliminating the friction that can cause irritation or rashes. One of the great features of this short is what it does not have…no leg gripper, so there is no tight binding around the thighs. The short stays down and in place since it is made of Ribbed™ Lycra® Power™ (see Fabric Facts), Carrera™ Piqué Abdomen panel and piping, Liquid Mesh™ bibs. The "400-Mile" name came from testing the product. Emilio did a 400 mile ride in 4 days and wore these shorts. The logic was that there are a lot of shorts that work okay for 100+ mile rides. But the real question is, how does that saddle feel the next morning when you get on the bike for another 100 miles....and the next morning? This was the inspiration for the design, the pad, and the name. Inseam Lengths:
