When you select FREE SHIPPING, we reserve the right to select the carrier and class of our choice.  It may take 10-14 business days from the date of your order for us to ship it depending on the month of the year you order, with triathlon season and holidays get more busy.  Any orders placed after 11:00 am PST depart no sooner than the next business day, but other factors that may affect processing time is the day you order, as are closed on weekends, and national holidays.  The final factor that may case delay is if you ordered during a special sale offer.  
    4. You must select the free shipping option in the shipping drop-down box.
    5. Free shipping is valid only for items we have in stock and for total net orders. For this reason, there is no free shipping on back orders.

Most customers doing Ironman races, national championships, or a very important race end up spending thousands dollars training, traveling, dining, paying the expensive entry fees, and buying new equipment.   For such an important race they want to be certain they get their product in time, so they typically choose for some form of premium expedited shipping.

For orders where a premium shipping is paid by you, we will usually process your order within 24 hours (excluding Saturdays and Sundays) from the day we receive it, and we will ship your order the same day if we get the order before 11:00 am Pacific Time and you select a paid expedited shipping method. However, during extremely busy periods, such as holidays, summer, and periods approaching major races around the world, it may take a number of days before it is processed. California’s Hybrid-Origin Sales Tax Collection for orders shipped in California

When we sell our product to customers in California, we are required to collect at least two sales tax rates in California;  one for customers in the “district” where De Soto Sport is located and one for customers outside the district where De Soto Sport is located.

Not many of us realize that the sales tax rate is the sum of two rates: the California state sales tax rate and a district sales tax rate. “Districts” are cities, counties and towns. The rates for these local jurisdictions range from 0.10% to 1.00% per district

More than one district tax may be in effect in a given location. California has four sales tax districts.  Since we ship from only one location in California, like De Soto Sport, then are required to charge two sales tax rates. We charge our district rate to buyers located in our district, San Diego, and the California state rate to buyers outside our district, and the local tax to where the parcel is shipping.

If your parcel is rejected or considered undeliverable for any reason beyond our control, we will either re-ship it to you, or refund the purchase price upon receipt to our offices, whichever you prefer. However, you are responsible for shipping charges and any other fees incurred by your local country.

USPS (United States Postal Service) International Express Mail: This service typically takes 3-5 business days to arrive at country of destination. When customs clearance procedures occur, it may result in shipping delays. Please note that once your package reaches its destination country, we have no control over transit time. If you believe your parcel is delayed, you may contact your local parcel carrier or customs office for further information.

USPS International Priority Mail: This service 6-10 days to arrive at country of destination. All text stated above applies.

UPS and FedEx: Delivery time varies by destination and type of service. Full traceable and guaranteed delivery time to your door unless it is held by customs for additional clearance or extra security measures.

United States Possessions: Your order can be shipped by any of the above providers.

APO and FPO can deliver by United States Postal Service Only.

Effective July 12, 2023 our international customers now see all our products in your own currency, as well as any duties, taxes, and shipping rates before you check out! This is a new feature we have added to eliminate any surprises and to get you package shipped to you with no delay.

If you need to return, repair or exchange something, please email
Please include your name, order number and the reason for your return. Our customer service staff will then issue you an RMA number which is necessary for your return to be accepted. We will respond to your request within 24 business hours, unless it is a holiday.

The majority of the items we offer are over $49.00 so we offer free ground shipping within the USA. The customer is responsible for freight to return, repair, or exchange. We cover the freight of the repaired or exchanged item back to you.

Our Policy On Sale Items

  1. The sale prices are for orders placed on our website only. These prices are not available on phone orders.
  2. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. We will not accept returns or exchanges, so be sure you are ordering the size you want. If something does not fit, sell it or give it to a friend! Again, at such great prices ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
  3. There is no warranty on any item that is on sale.
  4. All wetsuits, if they are ever on sale, are SOLD AS IS. There is no warranty at this price. The wetsuit may state NO WARRANTY on the inside.
  5. There may be a time lag between when an item sells out and when it is removed from the website. Sale items and prices are limited to styles and colors shown on the website, and only while supplies last, even if they appear on the website.
  6. There are no retroactive discounts for orders placed prior to now.
  7. By purchasing the discount sale item, you are agreeing to these terms of sale.

A Warning About Certain Lubricants and their Affect on Fabrics

Many athletic lubricants, especially non-liquid types, (like Body Glide, vaseline, and chamois creams) work well for wetsuits, but not well for clothing.  They tend to make clothing, especially loose clothing, sticky, instead of slick and slippery, and usually results in chafing. It will also damage, stain and discolor all fabrics over time. We advise against using them, and their use will nullify our warranty.
