What makes ours different? Our Skin Cooler fiber is designed to feel and perform like silk (from a silkworm). Through Biomimicry, we took the virtues of this natural fiber and created a synthetic silk. It will keep you cool in hot weather and cooler when it is wet. Put it on and you will instantly feel the cool sensation. Wet it and you will notice a drop in the surface temperature of the skin between 7 and 10 degrees.
You want the Arm Cooler measurement at the Top Opening to be smaller than your bicep measurement. The elastic holds the Arm Cooler in place.

A MEDICAL TESTIM0NIAL: We received this letter from Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon Dr. Michael Bax.*
I am an avid runner and triathlete and I recently discovered your Skin Cooler products, of which I'm a huge fan. I have been wearing them for a few months now and couldn't be happier. I am a dermatologist and Mohs surgeon at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY. Every patient I see is plagued by basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, or melanoma. I recommend your products to my active patients on a daily basis. It allows them to continue their active lifestyle while protecting themselves from the sun. I find your product to be far superior to all other cooling and sun protective lines. I truly appreciate your efforts and innovations.

Note: No garment should ever be a substitute so we always recommend you wear sunscreen underneath these, and all, products. It is crucial to keep in mind that a sunscreen's (whichever brand you may choose) SPF/UPF rating refers only to its ability to protect skin from UVB radiation. Because we know that UVA damage can be just as insidious, it is essential for the health of your skin that you use a sunscreen that contains the UVA-protecting ingredients of titanium dioxide or zinc oxide.

Somehow once you're riding and you're feeling a bit of a breeze, the breeze cools you down more so than it would if your skin was exposed. It's a good fit (true to size for me), they hold tight to the skin with no slack, and they hold up well to regular washes. Far superior to better known brands and good value for money. I’m really glad I got these.
Awesome - I love them. I gave a pair to my brother who lives in Dallas and he said they're a game changer for him with the summer heat. I also gave a pair to my girlfriend as she likes to stay cool, look good, and keep the sun off her arms. Check, check and check!
Fifteen years ago I purchased a pair and they served me well until they finally wore out. I bought a new pair and was amazed at how they have been improved - better fit, softer material, and closer weave to filter out the ultraviolet rays. I recommend them and would not hesitate to buy another pair.
I’m 5’6” and 130, and wear medium sleeves. Occasionally when I’m a bit lighter, they slide down, but the small is too small. I love these. Wear them for sun protection and cooling and they work great (Albuquerque NM sun is no joke). I forget they are even on. I’ve had 3 pair of these over the years, and I’ll keep ordering more. They last a long time, I just wear the heck out of them. Only comment- the stitching on them is like a magnet for Velcro esp. in the wash. It gets a bit fuzzy afterwards. Now I throw everything with Velcro in a bag, solves that problem.
Excellent fit and they perform their function very well....they provide excellent cooling. They are the most durable arm coolers I own.

The location of where the Arm Cooler length should be measured depends on where you want it to sit but most people like it somewhere on or just above the “ball” that constitutes your bicep when your lift up your elbow so the upper arm is parallel to the ground. Most important is that you consider how long the sleeve is on the top(s) you plan on wearing. Please see attached photos.
