When the human body heats up, it sweats to cool itself. Many brands have tried to support this natural process with fabrics that wick moisture away to speed up evaporation. Since 2005, De Soto has taken it a step further—using that moisture to actually cool the body.
Skin Cooler™ fabric features a unique knit with tiny channels. As these channels get wet, they absorb moisture and swell, pulling heat away from the skin. This creates a noticeable cooling effect, not just faster drying. The degree of cooling depends on airflow, humidity, ambient temperature, and the moisture’s own temperature. As you sweat, the fabric gets cooler—giving you a refreshing, active cooling sensation. Skin Cooler 90™ delivers this same cooling effect with the added benefit of reliable sun protection.
